Business Verification

The Georgia Business Council is now offering Business Verification, a strategic tool designed to help small businesses strengthen credibility, increase visibility and position themselves for opportunities across Georgia and beyond. Verification demonstrates that a business has completed a formal review process related to ownership, operations and business readiness, helping establish trust with corporations, public agencies and strategic partners.

For small businesses, verification creates access to a broader business ecosystem that includes corporate partners, educational resources, networking opportunities and supplier engagement initiatives designed to help companies grow and compete. Verified businesses are better positioned to build relationships, gain exposure to procurement opportunities and connect with organizations seeking qualified suppliers.

Corporate partners increasingly look for verified businesses because verification offers an added level of confidence in the sourcing and procurement process. It helps identify companies that are legitimate, operationally prepared and committed to professional standards. Working with verified suppliers can help corporations strengthen supply chains, improve responsiveness and connect with businesses that are ready to meet evolving business needs.

In today’s competitive environment, verification helps businesses enhance credibility, expand access to opportunity and become part of a statewide network focused on business growth, supplier readiness and long-term economic impact.
